– Brown throws to Jaylon Redd and the ball goes through his hands. However, a targeting is called on Alaka’i Gilman after the ball hits the ground. After review, there is no targeting.

– Oregon is shooting itself in the foot as George Moore and Devon Williams are called for false starts on consecutive plays.

– On third and six, Mycah Pittman finds some space and breaks a tackle by Kyu Blu Kelly and gains 66 yards. Ducks are in business on first and goal.
– Brown has not thrown the ball downfield at all in this game. He has had some time on multiple occasions and settles for the short game almost every time.
– Oregon begins its drive with a false start.

– McKee airmails Higgins who had room beyond the first-down marker. Cardinal will punt.
– The horrific drive for Stanford continues as another false start is called. Third and 22
– Jamal Hill makes a massive tackle against Austin Jones in space.
– Thibodeaux races to the opposite hash to bring down Jones for no gain on first and 20.
– McKee makes a fantastic throw to Benjamin Yurosek for a first down, but Stanford is called for a holding. Big break for the Oregon defense.
– Peat gets the first down as Noah Sewell returns to the field.
END OF THIRD QUARTER: 17-17
– On the final play of the third quarter, McKee rifles to Higgins for a completion and a first down. Noah Sewell is down and being attended to. Tough day for the Ducks and injuries. Looks like Sewell banged into Higgins in coverage and was holding his left wrist/arm.
– McKee passes to Humphreys for seven yards, a rare positive gain this quarter.

– Brown throws to a contested Matavao, and it is knocked away by Kyu Blu Kelly.
– Stanford jumps offsides to help Oregon slightly.
– Brown faces pressure up the middle and is sacked by Damuni.
– Brown throws incomplete to the back of the end zone with flags galore. Jaylon Redd is called for an illegal blindside block. Ducks are going backwards. First and goal at the 23.
– Verdell is headed to the locker room in a cart.

– Verdell gets the carry, and the Ducks convert once again on third down. Verdell is down and punching the ground in pain. Trainers are attending to him. Verdell could not put pressure on his left leg and was taken to the medical tent.
– Jones gets back up, as Dye gets the carry and avoids multiple tacklers for a four-yard gain. Ducks in the red zone.
– Brown keeps it on an option and finally picks up the first down. Steven Jones gets rolled into and is slow getting up.
– Kyu Blu Kelly fights through TJ Bass’s block and trips Verdell to bring up third down.
– Verdell is starting to pick up the work load, picking up 11 yards on his first two carries to get the first down.
– Mycah Pittman gets some great blocks and returns the punt into Stanford territory at the 38.

– On third down, Thibodeaux brought pressure while being double-teamed. McKee scrambles and is short of the first down. Oregon forces another three-and-out.
– Once again, Heaukulani trips up Peat before he could find the gap.
– Oregon’s pressure has arrived. Heaukulani has been bringing it all game and harasses McKee into a poor throw that falls incomplete.

– Brown is stopped on an option at the one-yard line.
– Brown somehow darts a throw to Dye for a first down inside the 10, who hangs on to the ball despite a huge hit by Kendall Williamson.
– Travis Dye bulldozes through a linebacker and picks up the first down on a tough run.
– Jaylon Redd catches a pass on a crosser and converts the first down.
– A short punt gives the Ducks the ball at the Stanford 48.

– Nate Heaukulani makes a beautiful read on a throw to Jones and brings him down for a big loss. Stanford punts.
– Brandon Dorlus explodes up the middle despite being held on the play to bring pressure on McKee. Stanford is called for the hold.

– A nice return by Casey Filkins gives the Cardinal the ball at their own 28.

– Verdell gets close to the goal line but is yanked back by his facemask with no call. Stanford burns a timeout on fourth and goal inside the one-yard line.
– Ducks take their first timeout of the half with 1:01 remaining until halftime.
– Brown rolls to the right and gets inside the five-yard line. Ducks will have third and goal.
– Dye gets the carry for little to no gain.
– Brown fakes the handoff and gets nice blocks from the offensive line to carry it to the left side for a first down and goal.
– On second and 12, Redd gets the ball on a handoff and picks up 21 yards.
– Levani Damuni makes an impressive play to fight through a block to bring down Verdell for a loss of two.
– Brown throws in the flat to Verdell for an easy first down.
– Dye carries for a first down, but he appears to fumble the ball and it is recovered by Stanford. After review, the call is overturned.
– Brown throws short to Dye who spins and rumbles for a first down. Oregon offensive line has allowed Stanford to pressure Brown plenty in the first half.
– Brown overthrows an open Devon Williams, who likely would have taken it to the house if the ball was on target.
– Jaylon Redd catches his first pass on the sideline and is blasted by Kendall Williamson.
– Mycah Pittman returns the punt by slips before he can return it. Ducks take over at their own 18.

– McKee keeps it for a short scramble, and the Cardinal will punt. Big stop by Oregon’s defense.
– Third down gets even longer with a false start penalty.
– Keyon Ware-Hudson bats down a pass by McKee, and the Cardinal have a third and long.
– Peat is blown up by Thibodeaux and Noah Sewell for a loss of two.
– As Stanford gets the ball at the 23, Oregon looks to stop the run and get the ball back for one last drive at the end of the first half before the Ducks get the ball again to start the second half.

– On third down and eight, Brown is brought down by Miezan for another big loss. Fourth down and a punt. The Ducks continue to rotate offensive linemen on the right side, where the pressure continues to come.
– Ricky Miezan blows up the play and tackles Verdell for a loss. Moliki Matavao cannot get a chip on the block. Loss of four.
– Kris Hutson gets his first catch right at the 40 for the first down. Brown is throwing well on the sidelines.
– Verdell gets the carry, evading an early would-be tackler for a gain of seven.

– Isaiah Sanders gets the direct snap and bolts for the two-yard touchdown. PAT is GOOD. 17-7 Stanford (8:02 2Q)
– Jones is stopped by Jamal Hill and co. to bring up third and goal.
– On goal to go, Jones carries and is brought down by Mase Funa for no gain, but Funa is down on his back and is pointing to his right shoulder. Funa has been banged up often this year. The Ducks’ linebacker is able to walk off the field on his own power.
– Peat rockets forward for another first down. Ducks struggling against the run.
– Nate Heaukulani blasts into the backfield and hits Peat early, but Peat continues to drive forward for a two-yard pickup.
– Jones runs again for six yards, bouncing off of a hit by Thibodeaux.
– Jones picks up the first down. Ducks have not been able to get into the backfield and have missed several tackles up front in the run game. Flashes to Jones having a solid game at Autzen last year.
– McKee avoids the pressure and steps up and scrambles for six yards.
– Brycen Tremayne catches a crosser with Kayvon Thibodeaux missing a tackle in coverage, but Tremayne is dragged down and appears to have suffered a serious lower leg injury. Tremayne is being carted off the field with his left ankle in an aircast.
– Stanford takes advantage of the continued drive with a gain of 11 by Austin Jones who moves the Cardinal into Oregon territory.
– McKee throws incomplete to Tremayne with Dontae Manning in coverage, but Manning is called for pass interference. Mario Cristobal is irate on the sideline. The incompletion would have forced a punt, but now Stanford’s drive continues.
– McKee fires to Higgins on the sideline for nine yards. Thibodeaux was nearby in coverage.
– Peat is stopped by Popo Aumavae for no gain. Great penetration by Aumavae.

– Brown keeps it on another option and carries for about three yards.

– On the final play of the first quarter, Verdell buries several Stanford defenders for a first down. Ducks are moving as the field flips and the second quarter begins.
– Brown throws to Ferguson on a screen to the opposite sideline, and Ferguson flashes the speed for a first down.
– Brown throws to the same sideline once again to Devon Williams for another first down. Cardinal have been giving Williams space on the sidelines.
– Ducks are in Stanford territory, and Brown runs an option for a short gain.
– Ducks line up quickly, and Brown throws accurately to Devon Williams on the sideline for his first catch and a first down.
– Verdell carries to the outside and is spun down for five yards.
– As the Ducks line up at their own 45, the previous play of McKee’s QB sneak is under review. The call stands.

– McKee sneaks close to the first down on fourth down. Measurement shows he does not get the first down. Oregon’s defense has had a tough time stopping the run, especially from Peat who has 50 yards on five carries, but the Ducks get a massive stop here.
– Austin Jones subs in and comes up inches short of a first down on third and two.
– Peat bounces outside and picks up eight into Oregon territory.
– McKee feels the pressure and has to throw it away on first down.
– McKee throws a dart to the opposite side of the field to Higgins for another first down with Jamal Hill in coverage.
