A dark room. Flashing, neon-colored lights. Upbeat music pumping from the speakers. And a trainer cheering you on as you progress from station to station.
That’s all part of the experience at Revival Fitness, or RevFit for short — a boutique workout studio that’s celebrating the opening of its flagship location at 3322 Hulen St. this week. Classes range from high-intensity interval training to upper/lower body and cardio, all taking place in a dimly lit room where participants move between designated stations featuring equipment like kettle bells, battle ropes, and more.
Showers and locker rooms are among various amenities offered at the studio; also of note is the space’s UVC light system that, according to RevFit, disinfects air and surfaces to help minimize spread of COVID-19. Specialized HVAC systems also provide air filtering, and stations are a minimum of 6 feet apart, with classes capped at 30 members.
“Our studio is designed with the future of fitness in mind, with safety as a top priority,” business partner Reid Warner said in a statement. “We believe that we each have the ability to take charge of our wellness by making conscious decisions to be healthy, and everything we do at Revival Fitness Texas is designed to set all of us up for success.”
RevFit is hosting an open house on Saturday, with free sessions for first-time visitors scheduled for 8:15 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and studio tours and staff meet-and-greets from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Those looking to attend can register here.
