CASPER, Wyo. — Organizers of the Mike Sedar BMX track in Casper have formed a GoFundMe page to help recover costs from a building and equipment lost in a recent fire.
According to the page, the building was a complete loss, along with its contents, which included maintenance tools, loner strider bikes, helmets and trophies, among other items.
“This is a devastating loss for our non-profit track,” said the post. “Any donations will go directly to the track to replace what was lost.”

As of Tuesday afternoon the page had collected $350 in donations out of a goal of $20,000.
Casper Fire-EMS responded to the fire early Sunday morning and found the building “fully involved” upon arrival, according to A Platoon engineer and spokesman Andrew Sundell.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
